Lucky Buck is the "almost" perfect been-there, done-that versatile horse....  from working cattle, sorting pairs, to ranch roping, and trails.  He is very cowy and recently has been used extensively on ranches to move and sort cattle.  In 2005 Buck was in training with Todd Banner, Montana NCHA Champion and did great.  Todd took Buck to brandings where he sorted pairs, was used to rope calves and drag to the fire, etc.  Buck goes through water, over downfalls, and is used to wildlife popping up on trails.  In 2006 and early 2007 Buck continued to be used to work and move cattle and spent more time on trails.

As far as arena work, he has been exposed to reining training, does lead changes, rollbacks and sliding stops - he has an excellent overall handle.  He is cute English and lopes a quiet hunter course.  Lucky Buck is an eye-catcher!!!  

Best suited for an advanced-intermediate and confident rider.  

**Buck was involved in a no-fault accident about a year ago and needs some work before he should be used for roping again.  The person riding him roped a calf in a close space, the calf ran under the horse and the rope wrapped around Buck's legs, ending up with him going down and getting rope burns on all legs from the incident.**
